Crafted predominantly from indigenous grape varieties such as Obaideh and Merwah, it offers a unique expression of the terroir. The grapes, sourced from old-vine vineyards located at high altitudes, are hand-harvested and carefully sorted to ensure only the finest fruit is used. After gentle pressing, the juice undergoes fermentation in French oak barrels, followed by an extended period of aging, typically lasting around nine months to two years.

Château Musar, founded in 1930 by Gaston Hochar, is located in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon. Situated at the crossroads of ancient civilizations, the winery benefits from a unique terroir characterized by limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate.

Today, the estate is run by the second and third generations of the Hochar family, producing approximately 1 million bottles annually.
